Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant awarded CBE by Prince of Wales
Former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant denied he was now part of the establishment after being awarded a CBE by the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

Plant said the experience was humbling to take part in a ceremony alongside “very selfless” military heroes and community volunteers.
With his long hair tied into a ponytail and wearing a simple blue suit and a handful of heavy silver rings giving away his rock roots, he denied that the award meant he was now part of the establishment.
“The diversity of people who have moved through here this morning prove there is no real establishment here,” he added.
Plant last year decided not to take part in a Led Zeppelin reunion tour, choosing instead to concentrate on his collaboration with American bluegrass singer Alison Krauss.
Asked today if he would ever return to the stage with his old band-mates, he said: “Sometimes I go a bit deaf in either ear, especially when people are talking nonsense.”
He said that he owed “everything to the musicians I work with”, adding: “From the UK to Africa to Tennessee, it is their brilliance that I bounce off. Alone I’m nothing.”
He also joked that he and former Zeppelin band-mate Jimmy Page – who has an OBE – would not be fighting over rank.
“If we can remember each other’s phone number at this time in life it’s a miracle. We’re still good friends, we both enjoy a rather dark sense of humour that comes I think from being from rather the wrong side of the tracks for all those wild years.”
World-record breaking Olympic cycle champions also collected their MBEs.
Ed Clancy, 24, and Paul Manning, 34, were part of the pursuit team which broke the world record twice on their way to a winning gold at the Beijing Games.
And Royle Family star Liz Smith, 87, who played the ailing Nana was also awarded an MBE.
Mr. Crowley would be so proud.
Wouldn’t he though?
You know if he were alive today people would probably flock around him and celebrate his brilliance.

Oh yes we sure did. What a guy! Now just imagine Prince Chuck handing out Kudo’s to a drug abusing, Satan worshipping guy who dabbles in the dark arts, oops they already did that with Plant. And Sir Paul, etc.
And Mr. Page…and I’m sure the list just goes on and on. Chuck is an awesome judge of character. Well, he’s just a stellar upstanding member of the community himself isn’t he.
Ain’t he though? Years ago the Scottish newspapers called him “Bonnie Prince Tampon” Because of his comments to that lovely wifey of his. I thought it was pretty funny. Old dirty Chuck..and still married to the Mum of his children then too.
I guess they both got around, so to speak.

Hey, speaking of Hitler and MJ, I noticed that the tabloids (must read while waiting in grocery line) were saying that MJ had an obsession with Hitler. He also had been living with his Guru Deepak Shopra (or whatever his name is) for the past year. Hmmmm, it’s always behind the curtain of these big stars.
EEERGH. The Guru Deepak thinks he’s god. That man is going to pay for leading so many astray. There is a special place for him in the outter darkness.
Yup, he gets around, bringing his entourage of demons with him. He totally preys on those whose souls are longing. I hope that he realizes that we all will face Judgement. Hope he’s got his knees all flexed up with that Yoga, cause he’s gonna be doing some serious bowing before the King.
I saw the same tabloid just now in Kroger’s. Debby Rowe was afraid of MJ’s Hitler obsession so much she feared for her “kids” only now they are saying they ain’t hers either. Good grief.
Do you guys remember what a creep Chopra was on that Devil discussion panel with Mark Driscoll and the hookers for Jesus girl? He is….well you guys said it nicer than I would have. Let’s just say he needs teflon coated knee pads, it’s gonna get hot right after the bowing.
